Yoga and Walking in Spain

I will return to this beautiful country for another retreat sometime in the future. But sorry to say I will not be able to do it in 2017.

What is the terrain like? The paths are well worn and are not difficult. There will be some long, slow climbs through farming areas. We walk along a lot of secondary farming roads, through forests of chestnuts, hazelnuts and apple orchards. .....don't miss this amazing retreat experience!

Yoga, Food and Miles of Hiking!

Start the morning with an energizing yoga session complete with pranayama and meditation. Followed by a hearty breakfast in the Spanish Steps 45main dining room, formerly a mill, before the day’s hiking adventure unfolds. Then our guides will take us through magnificent landscapes via well-trodden pathways visiting remote villages where life unchanged, continues much as it always has.  We will walk beautiful mountain trails, averaging approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles) per day, accompanied by friendly and knowledgeable guides who will fill our days with a soulful blend of scenic hiking, historical insights, traditional experiences and wonderful food. In the late afternoon, we enjoy a deep stretch or restorative yoga practice to rejuvenate our trekking legs before enjoying lovely home-cooked dinners prepared by the owners of Fuentes de Lucia.

Yoga Facilities

Yoga inside & yoga outside! There is nowhere better to breathe in the pure mountain air and stretch your limbs than at our tranquil Spanish Steps 1restored farmhouse, Fuentes de Lucia, and purpose built yoga studio.
